Customer context

Marc-Antoine Barrois' luxury boutique is located at 14 rue du Faubourg Saint‑Honoré, in the heart of Paris’ Historic Luxury district next to the French President palace Elysée.

The challenge

The goal of this project was to demonstrate how sustainability and high‑end retail design can go hand in hand. Every step in-store had to carry both beauty and a significant carbon footprint reduction.

Our approach

The interior’s luxurious, polished look was achieved through a custom blend of micro‑cement incorporating Paebbl’s carbon‑storing material. After a rigorous benchmark of alternative materials, ranging from traditional resin terrazzo to lime‑based composites, Design & Beton and Paebbl fine‑tuned the colour, grain size and sheen to meet Barrois’s exacting standards, while achieving a 9% carbon footprint reduction.
