Located at 14 rue du Faubourg Saint‑Honoré, in the heart of Paris’ Historic Luxury district next to the French President palace Elysée, this 30 m² micro‑cement application elevates the store’s aesthetic and demonstrates how sustainability and high‑end retail design can go hand in hand.
The interior’s luxurious, polished look is achieved through a custom blend of micro‑cement incorporating Paebbl’s carbon‑storing material. After a rigorous benchmark of alternative materials, ranging from traditional resin terrazzo to lime‑based composites, Design & Beton and Paebbl fine‑tuned the colour, grain size and sheen to meet Barrois’s exacting standards, ensuring every step in‑store carries both beauty anda significant carbon footprint reduction.

This flagship demonstrates how design and sustainability can converge. “Our House has always celebrated craft and rarity,” explains Marc-Antoine Barrois. “Partnering with Paebbl allows us to extend that philosophy into the floor beneath our clients’ feet, marrying French savoir‑faire with the most advanced climate technology available.”
Architect Antoine Bouillot adds, “Our role was to orchestrate a symphony of rare woods, sculpted metals and this groundbreaking micro‑cement, proving that refined luxury can and must adopt a virtuous materials palette.”
At Paebbl, we believe that carbon-storing materials should be an everyday choice for architects, contractors, brand owners and industrials who appreciate style, performance and substance.
With this new application in retail, we’re proud to bring more carbon sinks solutions to the world and grateful to work with customers who share this vision.
