This building stores CO₂
The Veerhuis bulding, located at Schiemond 50, 3024 EE Rotterdam, is a carbon sink. CO₂ that would otherwise build up in the atmosphere is now locked within its walls.

“By the time the material came to us, it had already captured 275 kg of CO₂ that will be stored in the building.”

An entire value chain committed to sustainability
Turning the built environment into a carbon sink requires the alignment of an entire value chain: concrete producers, constructors, real estate developers, architects and end clients. This is the mission of Paebbl as a company.
Paebbl provides the mineralisation technology that transforms CO₂ into CO₃ – a powder that can be used as a raw material to replace part of the cement in the concrete mix. Cement production is responsible for approximately 8% of global emissions. By transforming CO₂ into a construction material, Paebbl fundamentally reverses this impact.
